In his position as Vice President of Solutions and Products, William is responsible for overseeing development of NetCraftmen’s solution offerings. His responsibilities include developing solution offerings that NetCraftsmen brings to the market, working with sales leadership to introduce solutions to our customers, and working with operations leadership to ensure we are able to deliver solutions at the quality level that NetCraftsmen is known for in the industry.
William has 23 years of experience in the IT industry. He started his career as an application developer in the commercial space. From there he evolved to working on various OS platforms and network systems in the service provider space. When joining NetCraftsmen, William’s core expertise was unified communications and collaboration technologies. He served as the technical lead in this space for several years before becoming a practice lead for network infrastructure and then stepping into his current role of leading NetCraftsmen’s solution and product development

WHY NETCRAFTSMEN?
I came to NetCraftsmen because my philosophy on personal growth is based on the fundamental belief that in order to become better at what I do, I need to surround myself with people who will always be raising the bar of success. Since being at NetCraftsmen, I would say that there are two main reasons why I am proud to be part of this company.
First, the company’s culture is one that makes you feel like you are part of a family. We have a very inclusive culture that has been present in our DNA since the company’s inception. We have been able to preserve this culture despite our growth over the past several years.
Second, the company’s philosophy is to respect our customers as true partners and to treat every system we touch as if it were our own. We do not see customer’s as just another source of revenue. We treat them as partners and we take our commitment to their success very seriously.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT YOUR JOB?
My favorite part about the job is that there is an endless opportunity to grow as a person. We are always tackling new challenges and constant change. The creative solutions we come up with as a team to solve real problems serves as a constant reminder that I am working shoulder to shoulder with some of the best talent in the industry. Being a part of something that is larger than yourself is always going to be my favorite part about the job.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO OUTSIDE OF WORK?
Outside of work I like to spend time with my family. I also like spending time working on or riding my bicycle, as well as spending some quality garage time working on the jeep with my dad. Whenever possible, I like shutting off all of the tech and spending quality time outdoors hiking and camping.
