An experienced senior network engineer, Abdul is well versed in network security as well as routing & switching technologies. He enjoys problem solving and developing creative solutions. He currently holds CCNP certification and is pursuing the CCIE certification.
Responsible for technical leadership and solutions development, David engages directly with major customers. Prior to NetCraftsmen, he was a Senior Consultant with Chesapeake Computer Consultants, Inc. and Mentor Technologies. His background spans a wide range of technical disciplines including performance management, networking, server administration, storage, virtualization, and unified communications. An expert in the design and operation of networking systems that support complex requirements, David loves solving technical challenges. He has been published in several books and magazine articles, and his current certifications include CCIE #2292 and CCDE #20120013.
An accomplished Senior Network Engineer, Fausat has over 15 years experience designing; implementing and supporting large scale multi-protocol network, security, and Internet Web traffic technologies. She has strong skills in network risk and vulnerability assessments, traffic load balance technologies and network security policies. She also has strong understanding of routing and switching protocols. Her areas of focus include network and telecommunications design, support, security assessments and management of large distributed information systems networks. She currently holds the highly recognized Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) certificate and Information Assurance certificate. Her experience encompasses the entire spectrum of inter-networking protocols and technologies.
John Cavanaugh, CCIE 1066, CCDE 20070002, CCAr, leads an Architecture and Design practice focused on infrastructure security. Previously he had several positions including Executive Director/Chief Architect for Global Network Services at JPMorgan Chase. In that capacity he led a team managing Vendor relationships, Network Architecture and Services. Prior to his role at JPMorgan Chase, John was a Distinguished Engineer at Cisco.
A senior network and security engineer with extensive routing and switching expertise that covers all major protocols, Keith has been the lead engineer at several US Federal and UK sites. He has also been responsible for or played a major role in the design, implementation and support of multiple projects ranging from virtualized Nexus data centers to the creation of VPN and multi-tiered firewall solutions. Keith is currently pursuing a CCIE certification.
PR Sakya is a Senior Engineer at NetCraftsmen with 20 years of information technology industry experience. He has successfully designed, configured and operated Data Centers, Network and Security Infrastructures and has experience in Services, Financial and Manufacturing verticals. PR has completed his MBA with a concentration in MIS and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
Rick Barton joins NetCraftsmen as a Senior Engineer with more than 18 years of professional experience. Over the past 10 years, Rick’s focus has been in the commercial business sector, implementing complex multi-tenant datacenter security solutions that meet the demands of industry compliance requirements.
Samuel Bickham has a diverse experience set, which includes graphic design, web and application development, routing and switching, network security and network design. He holds a CCIE in Route/Switch and has over 12 years of industry experience.
An accomplished Network Architect, Shaffeel has his CCIE in Routing and Switching and has over 18 years experience in designing network infrastructure and security solutions and in project management.
With more than twenty years of experience deploying state-of-the-art communications solutions, Steve has worked on implementations ranging from research institution networks to ISP backbones. He has also designed, deployed, or improved the network for some large, well-known hospitals.
Nick has over 20 years of experience in Security Operations and Security Sales. He is an avid student of cybersecurity and regularly engages with the Infosec community at events like BSides, RVASec, Derbycon and more. The son of an FBI forensics director, Nick holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice and is one of Cisco’s Fire Jumper Elite members. When he’s not working, he writes cyberpunk and punches aliens on his Playstation.
Virgilio “Bong” has sixteen years of professional experience in IT industry from academe, technical and customer support, pre-sales, post sales, project management, training and enablement. He has worked in Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) as a member of the WAN and LAN Switching team. Bong now works for Tech Data as the Field Solutions Architect with a focus on Cisco Security and holds a few Cisco certifications including Fire Jumper Elite.

Previously he has held several positions including Executive Director/Chief Architect for Global Network Services at JPMorgan Chase. In that capacity, he led a team managing network architecture and services. Prior to his role at JPMorgan Chase, John was a Distinguished Engineer at Cisco working across a number of verticals including Higher Education, Finance, Retail, Government, and Health Care.
He is an expert in working with groups to identify business needs, and align technology strategies to enable business strategies, building in agility and scalability to allow for future changes. John is experienced in the architecture and design of highly available, secure, network infrastructure and data centers, and has worked on projects worldwide. He has worked in both the business and regulatory environments for the design and deployment of complex IT infrastructures.
