Some Light Background on “Why” We Did this ATP
NetCraftsmen has always provided network readiness and design services to our customers in support of deploying real time communication solutions. So, we have years of experience around integrating real-time interactive video solutions with enterprise networks. About a year ago we had the opportunity to expand our knowledge when we were asked to help a large healthcare organization to design an end-to-end telemedicine solution that leveraged the Cisco TelePresence solution portfolio.
One of the outcomes from this project was that my personal interest in pursuing video solutions was renewed. When you have the opportunity to see your solutions help people actually do their job better, especially when that job is improving the quality of another person’s life, you can’t help but be inspired.
In parallel with this project, I spent time speaking with Cisco and Tandberg folks about the direction of their technology and I believe that Cisco’s vision for the future of video in the enterprise is right on track.
Our belief in the value of the solution to our customers and in the Cisco TelePresence portfolio initiated our objective to pursue the Cisco TelePresence ATP. The NetCraftsmen Collaboration team is looking forward to helping our customers design, build, and deploy sustainable telepresence solutions.
