Yesterday, I sat for the CCIE Voice lab in RTP. This morning I received the news that I passed the exam and am now, officially, a CCIE Voice. I have been working with Cisco voice and video solutions for a long time. Pretty much since it came on the scene. I put off going after the CCIE for various reasons, none of which matter now. Today I can put a bow on that experience and join the ranks of my fellow IE’s here at NetCraftsmen. I’d say that I am in pretty good company. Wouldn’t you?
Special thanks to my family, friends, and colleagues for supporting me on this journey. Your encouragement and support is what kept me motivated. For those interested in reading more, I have and will continue to post blogs around my CCIE experience on my personal blog site. Of course, now that I can reclaim an absolute TON of time back from study efforts I plan to blog more here and on my personal site.
